Reno artist, Beck Baumann…
I was recently thrilled to meet local Reno artist Beck Baumann. I completely fangirled, DM’d her on Instagram, and asked if she’d consider hanging some pieces in the store. Her work is whimsical and sparks so much joy that I smile every time I look at each piece. She meticulously makes sculpture and wall art primarily covered in sequins. She incorporates trashed styrofoam and thrifted and recycled materials into her pieces whenever possible. She has recently shown her work at the Reno Tahoe International Art Show. And, she’s only been honing her sequins skills in the last 5 years!
