My best days at LCDmodern are when I get to chat with customers and expend my creative energy through making something with my hands. In both cases, I gain a sense of purpose and connection - something many of us seem to be wanting these days. It is true that being creative every day can improve our mental health and emotional resilience. It activates a dopamine release that boosts our mood and creates a sense of satisfaction. It also breaks up the monotony of the day and reawakens our senses. It has, most literally, changed my mood and general disposition in a day.
So, I am introducing the LCDmodern ARTbar where you can walk-in (during business hours), choose from a menu of easy projects in a variety of prices, and foster your own creativity. Come alone or bring a friend, it's all about enjoying the moment, letting your creativity flow, and reconnecting with yourself or others. No need to stress about signing up in advance (although you can reserve time slots here if you choose), just walk in and let your artistic side shine. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned artist, these mini walk-in sessions are perfect for everyone (13 + years).
Choose from a menu of projects or bring your own project to work on. Cost varies from $0 to $30 (based on materials).
Larger parties are welcomed but contact us in advance to reserve a time and the space. Off hours are also available upon reservation.

LCDmodern continues to be boutique STOREFRONT featuring small, independent businesses and artists. I still source from our popular vendors and other small business in small batches. If you’re looking for something specific, let ups help you. The storefront is a perfect place to grab a gift or to treat yourself.
I will continue my semi-retired hours which means I may be out of town now and then. I will keep my Google up-to-date weekly. Please check there first. When I’m in town, my hours are typically:
Wednesday - Friday, 11am to 4pm
Saturdays, 10am to 2pm
